At Southern Comfort, our ideal home health aide is compassionate, caring, and able to develop strong relationships with patients. We’re also looking for somebody with past home care experience, who understands how to form more in-depth connections with patients.

Job Requirements

  • 6 months of home care experience
  • Level 2 background check
  • Current TB rest (read within the last year)
  • Current CPR card
  • HIV/AIDS course certificate
  • HHA certificate

    Home Health Aide Job Duties

    Home Health Aides at Southern Comfort provide daily living assistance to help seniors age in place while being comfortable in their own home. Job duties include:

    • Daily living assistance with toileting, bathing, dressing, and grooming
    • Housekeeping
    • Meal preparation
    • Companion services
    • Transportation
